The Streets

Well as some have requested, I did attempt doing some street photography recently. Just some reflections: Most people approach such a genre by being trigger-happy i.e. they simply shoot without looking hoping for the best. As a personal preference, I prefer well-composed shots taken through the viewfinder. The streets can really be full of interesting perspectives for you to shoot, but they only appear when you least expect it and disappear before you know it. Hence my 3 golden rules of street photography to you:
Point fast, Shoot fast, and most importantly, Leave fast.

Understand now y u like ur 3rd photo more liao. Indeed was a great shot there. Just a bit wasted the man eyes not clearly seen. If can clearly see him looking at the no smoking sign will be a damn good shot liao.

haha yup i keep wondering whether i should crop closer.. but i kinda like the space of the photo though. Gives a sense of isolation (smoker you see heh). Anyway ur skyscraper pic reminds me of lex's UOB building pic.. it's pretty awesome.
